God Is In Control

Good morning! I'm so sorry I haven't written in a while. I'm having problems with my computer so I'm going to try to post this morning if it will let me. I will start by asking for you to be praying for my family. Satan has been on the attack in our lives trying to make us worry about the future when I have the baby, because I will be out of work for 6 weeks. My husband and I know without a doubt that God will take care of this because he always does. He is the provider in all things and we know that, yet satan tries so hard to make us believe that it is us that does the providing. We sometimes try to take control, but in 1 Chronicles 29:11 it tells us that our heavenly Father is in ultimate control of everthing.
I have joined an adult bible study on finances and yesterday really taught me alot. They started out quoting the scripture Isaiah 55:8-9,For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. That made me think alot about the way I think of myself. Sometimes we think that it is up to us to supply but in reality we just have to do our part and let God take it from there. One of the scriptures said that in order to become genuine followers of Christ, we must transfer the ownership of our possessions to the Lord [Luke14:33]. It said that the first step in learning freedom is recognizing that God is the owner of all your possessions. One of the statements went like this, "It is comforting for the child of God to recognize that his heavenly Father orchestrates even seemingly devastating circumstances for the ultimate good." Man is that good stuff! Touched right down to the soul! That's like the scripture that says that God causes all things to work together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose,[Romans 8:28]. I am quoting and requoting Matthew 6:33, Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righeousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. One of the last statements was "Small things are small things, but faithfulness with a small thing is a big thing!"
So here's what I ask that you pray for my family, that we remember to give God all that is his[everything] every day without taking it back. Thank you so much for your prayers.

He is refining you girlfriend and giving you the precious privilege to know and trust Him more...a high road to take in Him!

I will lift your family to His Throne, and agree with you in the spirit that He will indeed not forsake you during these times.
